These Terms are an agreement between you and 1001585464 ONTARIO LIMITED, the Ontario corporation that operates the PlayWindow website and application. By creating an account or using PlayWindow, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. Do not use PlayWindow if you do not agree.
PlayWindow accounts are for parents, legal guardians, organization representatives, and other authorized adults age 18 or older. Children may not create or operate accounts. You are responsible for having authority to provide any information about a child or family member.
PlayWindow is a coordination tool. It does not conduct background checks, verify every identity or relationship, supervise meetings, provide childcare, or guarantee the conduct or safety of another user. Families are responsible for deciding whom to connect with and for making appropriate safety arrangements before sharing information or meeting in person.
For emergencies or immediate threats, contact local emergency services. PlayWindow support is not an emergency service.
Users may create profiles, messages, posts, comments, plans, activities, reports, and uploaded content. You retain ownership of your content. You grant PlayWindow a limited licence to host, process, display, transmit, and back up that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service.
You must have the rights and permissions required to submit content, including photos and information relating to children or other adults.
Users can report content and block other users in the app. PlayWindow may review content and account activity, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or preserve and disclose information when reasonably necessary for safety, enforcement, or legal compliance.
PlayWindow is not required to monitor every interaction and cannot guarantee that objectionable content will never appear.
Some features may rely on third-party services, including authentication, calendar, mapping, email, file-hosting, and push-notification providers. Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. PlayWindow is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
PlayWindow may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, security events, or circumstances outside PlayWindow’s control. No uninterrupted or error-free operation is promised.
You may delete your account inside the app or through the public Account Deletion page. PlayWindow may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety concerns, fraud, legal requirements, or risks to the service or other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute provisions—continue to apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayWindow is provided “as is” and “as available.” PlayWindow disclaims warranties that are not expressly required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayWindow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or harm resulting from another user’s conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting consumer rights that cannot be waived under the laws of a user’s location.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply.
